6 Detox for Busy Professionals after Holidays

New Year, new you, right? The holidays are over and it's time to get back on track with your health and fitness goals. But where do you start? A detox is a great way to jump-start your healthy habits for the year. Here are 6 of the best detoxes for anyone. Happy New Year!

1. Drink plenty of water

Water is key to feeling our best – both mentally and physically. When we’re dehydrated, not only does it make us feel tired and cranky, but studies have linked dehydration with poor concentration, increased anxiety levels, and decreased cognitive function. So make sure to drink enough water each day.

2. Eat detoxifying foods like fruits and vegetables

It’s no secret that fruits and vegetables are good for you. They’re packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that your body needs to function properly. But what you may not know is that some fruits and vegetables are especially detoxifying. So if you’re looking to cleanse your system, eat a few of these detoxifying foods every day. You’ll feel better in no time!

3. Get Enough Sleep

There’s one thing that all of us ladies have in common: We’re busy! Between work, family, and our social lives, finding time for ourselves can be a challenge. But what if I told you that something as simple as getting enough sleep could help make your life a little bit easier? Believe it or not, getting the recommended seven to eight hours of shut-eye is crucial for maintaining our health and well-being. So if you feel like you’re constantly running on fumes, hopefully this post will inspire you to make sleep a priority.

4. Exercise Regularly

I'm sure by now you've heard that exercise is good for you. In fact, it's probably the one thing your doctor has harped on more than anything else. But what does that mean for you? How can you make time for a workout when you're already juggling work, family and social obligations? The good news is that even a little bit of exercise goes a long way. So if you can't fit in a full hour at the gym, don't worry! There are plenty of other ways to get moving.

5. Take breaks throughout the day to relax and rejuvenate

If you're like most women, you're probably always looking for ways to squeeze in a little bit more exercise. And that's awesome! Exercise is so important for our health and well-being. But sometimes it can be hard to fit into our busy schedules. That's why I'm here to tell you about the benefits of regular exercise, and give you some tips on how to make it work for you.

6. Avoid caffeine and alcohol

We’ve all been there. You had a long day at work, and all you want to do is relax with a glass of wine or some caffeine. But while these two substances may seem like the perfect way to unwind, they could actually be keeping you from getting the rest you need. This blog post will discuss the effects of caffeine and alcohol on sleep, and offer some tips for avoiding them before bedtime. So next time you’re feeling exhausted, skip the coffee and wine and try one of these alternatives instead. You may find that you get more quality sleep – and feel better overall – when you do!

You are what you eat! That's why it is so important to detoxify your body regularly. If you're looking for a few easy ways to get started, try eating more fruits and vegetables while avoiding caffeine and alcohol. Drink plenty of water throughout the day too - hydration is key when it comes to feeling refreshed. It also helps with digestion which leads me to my next point...regular exercise makes everything easier (including digesting food). Get plenty of sleep each night because that will give your brain and body time recover from all the work that has been done during the day. And finally, take breaks every hour or two by doing something active like going for a walk outside or taking some deep breaths in nature; this can help rejuvenate.

If you want to be healthier and live a more balanced life, there are some things that you can do on your own. But sometimes it takes an expert’s perspective to get the results you need in order to feel better about yourself. I work with clients who are looking for holistic solutions that will help them achieve their goals of feeling happier, lighter, stronger or more energized. My services include coaching people through all aspects of health including nutrition plans, exercise routines and ways they can take care of themselves mentally while taking time off from work each day during the week.
